List of the Best BLDC Ceiling Fans under Rs. 5000 in India 2026
01. Colorbot Helix BLDC Ceiling Fan 1200mm.

Why It’s Best
The Colorbot Helix is a feature-rich BLDC ceiling fan that hits significantly above its price range. It has a 6-speed IR remote that has Boost Mode, Timer, Reverse Mode, and LED control. Moreover, the 100% copper winding motor is durable and the sealed double ball bearing makes the motor operate without noise and maintenance.
The Helix has performed well with an impressive 370 RPM and 220 CMM of airflow and aerodynamically designed 1200mm aluminium blades. The BEE 5-star rating indicates its energy efficient qualifications, consuming only 26W at speed 5. With that said, the air delivery is slightly lagging behind some of the competitors within this range.
Although the fan is the cheapest in this list, the Helix has features similar to those of more expensive fans. It comes with a flexible remote, LED speed metre and a dual canopy system that fits standard, low, and false ceilings. The Colorbot Helix will be your choice in case you are willing to pay for slightly less airflow, noise level under 55 dB at speed 6 and still get an excellent value.

02. V-Guard Insight-G Premium Bldc Ceiling Fan

Best BLDC fan with maximum air delivery and anti-dust coating and 4 wind modes but costing slightly higher than 5,000.
This V-Guard fan is ideal to those customers who value the highest airflow and long-term durability rather than the cost. In the event that you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to spend more, the Colorbot Helix has 370 RPM at less than 3000 with a little less air delivery. The Orient Aeon VC Smart is more suitable in case you want to have IoT or app control.
The V-Guard Insight-G is the best choice as it tops the list in delivering air to 235 CMM and this is why it is used in bigger rooms up to 180 to 200 sq ft where lower-CMM fans might not be sufficient. The 370 RPM motor speed is the same as the Colorbot Helix, however, the better blade design and aerodynamic balancing get more CMM out of the identical RPM. In our evaluation, the air throw varies, particularly in rooms where the fan is installed at the standard 10-foot ceiling height.
One of the outstanding features is the anti-dust protective coating. Homes in India, especially in the highly polluted cities or close to the construction sites, have to contend with the dusty fan blades. This coating protects against dust, moisture, oil and even minor scratches, this implies that the blades remain cleaner longer and less often need to be wiped. In the long run, this saves a significant amount of maintenance work.
The 4 wind modes are an authentic addition. Boost mode activates the fan to its highest speed in summer afternoons. Breeze mode simulates a light breeze of the sea with automatic change of speed. Reverse mode circulates warm air down in winter which lowers heating expenses. Sleep mode slows down speed during the night, over a period of 8 hours, which is the slowest nighttime sleep reduction of all fans in this list.
The 100 percent copper motor with two ball bearings makes it run smoothly, quietly and maintenance free. The MMD (advanced motor management) technology of V-Guard boasts of savings of up to 53 percent of electricity and this is supported by the BEE 5-star rating.
The smooth surface with UI LED indicators is a luxury touch. The LED display indicates level of speed and mode status, which is more informative compared to a single LED display on the budget models. The body and blades are made of aluminium and thus the weight is 3.11 kg, which is easy to instal.
V-Guard provides 60 months warranty which is one of the best warranty terms that you can have in this price range. V-Guard has a well spread network of service in South and West India and has been steadily increasing in North and East India.
The primary factor is the MRP of 6280, which is above the 5000 mark. But Amazon and Flipkart often sell below ₹5,000 in sales, and once you find a deal, it will be the most cost-effective fan of the whole list.
03. Crompton Energion Caelum 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fan.

Why It’s Best
Crompton Energion Caelum is an effective BLDC ceiling fan, which has one outstanding feature, it can be used with a regulator and a remote. This dual control option provides some flexibility to the users that most BLDC fans in this price bracket do not provide. In addition to that, the Caelum provides good airflow of 220 CMM and a motor speed of 350 RPM, and uses only 28W.
The Caelum could rely on performance. It provided uniform airflow by its 1200mm sweep and aerodynamically shaped blades. The BEE 5-star rating indicates real energy saving and the fan showed steady speed even in the case of fluctuating voltage. With that said, the use of plastic body construction and the absence of reverse mode or LED indicators place it behind some of its competitors regarding the feel of premium.
The dual control convenience, solid airflow, and the support of the 4-year manufacturer warranty of the motor by Crompton are the qualities that make the Crompton Energion Caelum attractive. When you need the ability to use a regulator when you want, and you do not mind a simpler feature set, the Caelum is a sure bet.

The fan was able to operate with constant speed under varying voltage of between 165V and 285 V, and operated 3 times longer on inverter battery than the normal fans. With that said, the airflow at 225 CMM is not the most in this list, and the fan does not have Reverse Mode.
Although it does not have all the features of more expensive models, the Renesa Enzel provides the essential atomberg experience at a price that is affordable. It possesses a trusted motor, considerate remote capability and the support of a brand that has more than 1 crore satisfied customers. 05. Orient Electric Proton 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fan.

Why It’s Best
The Orient Electric Proton is a high-performance BLDC ceiling fan that provides impressive airflow in an unicolor body that is modern. It is packed with aerodynamically designed blades, a brushless DC motor that offers a long performance and a 6-speed LED indicator that is easily monitored. Moreover, the point-anywhere RF remote enables the control in any direction of the room.
The Proton had good performance. It provided 230 CMM of airflow at 350 RPM, which is higher in the air delivery fans in this list. The brushless motor has less friction and wear which makes it operate quietly and last longer than the traditional AC motor fans. With that said, the power consumption of 35W is comparable to the category average, and the fan does not have advanced features such as IoT or voice control that are available on the more expensive models of Orient.
The appeal of the Orient Proton is the powerful airflow that is combined with the modern design and a 3-year warranty.
The Orient Electric Proton is not the most feature-rich fan in this list, but it does what it does best, which is airflow and reliability. The 230 CMM air delivery is one of the highest in this price bracket and therefore it can be used in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and home offices.

06. Havells Elio 1200mm Ceiling Fan BLDC

Why It’s Best
The Havells Elio is a well-thought-out BLDC ceiling fan that is characterised by a very low power consumption and one of the most richly featured remotes in this price segment. It has a 28W motor, telescopic canopy to fit in any place, and an RF remote with four different modes of operation. Furthermore, Havells brand has a lot of trust and after sales service in India.
The Elio was also reliable in performance with 225 CMM of airflow at 350 RPM across the 1200mm sweep. Its efficiency credentials are proven by the BEE 5-star rating, and the aluminium blades ensure that there is a balanced air circulation. The fan, however, has 5 speed settings instead of 6 that most competitors have, but the Boost Mode makes up for it by cranking the motor to 380 RPM at 32W.
The remote functionality is what makes the Elio really special. Boost Mode is the mode that maximises cooling, Mop Mode is the mode that provides quick drying of the floor after mopping, Sleep Mode is the mode that slows down the speed at intervals, and Breeze Mode is the mode that produces natural wind-like changes in every 2530 seconds. The Havells Elio is a great option in case you desire a fine level of comfort control and have trust in the brand.

The Aeon VC Smart performed well. It provided 225 CMM of airflow at 350 RPM with only 32W consumption supported by a 100% copper BLDC motor. The two-way rotation is a good addition as it enables the fan to push the air down in summer to cool it and to push the warm air in winter. With that said, the IoT installation needs Wi-Fi connectivity and has an initial configuration procedure that might not be desirable to all users.
Although it is the priciest among this list, the only fan in this list that has a true smart home integration is the Aeon VC Smart. It is voice controlled, app controlled, two-way rotating, and has a high-quality metallic finish with a 5-year warranty of Orient. In case you would like to have a future-proofed BLDC fan with intelligent capabilities, and you do not mind spending more money, the Orient Electric Aeon VC Smart is the best choice.

Among all fans on this list, the air delivery was between 220 and 230 CMM, which is a rather narrow band, which means that the performance standards in the BLDC category are similar. The Orient Proton and atomberg Renesa Elite were the leaders in air delivery of 230 CMM with the Colorbot Helix and Crompton Caelum at the bottom of the range with 220 CMM. Nevertheless, the variation of 10 CMM is insignificant in practise with the standard-sized rooms.
Power consumption was more differentiated. Colorbot Helix was the most efficient with 26W on its maximum speed followed by Havells Elio and Crompton Caelum with 28W. The atomberg models and Orient Proton used 35W at peak speed, still by far significantly less than standard fans but significantly higher than the most efficient models.
The overall performance of RPM at 350 RPM was similar in most fans with the Colorbot Helix performing at 370 RPM and the atomberg Renesa Elite at 360 RPM. The Havells Elio revved to 380 RPM in Boost Mode, and was the quickest spinning fan in the list when boost is activated.
All the fans on this list have BEE 5-star rating, which proves that there is no single standard on energy efficiency, as the government sets the highest standards.
Feature Comparison
Each BLDC ceiling fan has different features based on the cost and brand philosophy. Others such as the Orient Aeon VC Smart are integrated with IoT and app control to have a complete connected experience. Others such as the Crompton Energion Caelum emphasise on practical basics and have dual control. Several fans on this list have Reverse Mode so that they can be used in winter and some are only used as cooling devices in summer.
The following table indicates the features that come with each fan.

The Orient Aeon VC Smart has the highest number of features, as it is the only fan to have an IoT connexion, app control, voice commands, and the Breeze Mode, but it is also the priciest. Havells Elio is characterised by the special Mop Mode and Breeze Mode at an intermediate price. Colorbot Helix has the lowest price of Reverse Mode as it is a phenomenal value proposition.
The Crompton Energion Caelum is the only fan on this list that can be used with a conventional regulator, a convenient feature in those homes where rewiring is not an option. Conversely, the majority of atomberg and Orient fans need remote operation and can also be electrically adjusted in case a regulator is already present.
Comparison of Warranty and After Sales.
The warranty and brand reliability are important in a long term purchase such as a ceiling fan. The following table is a comparison of the warranty, brand presence, and important service considerations.
| Fan | Standard Warranty | Extended Warranty | Total Warranty |
| Colorbot Helix | 2 Years | +2 Years (on registration) | 4 Years |
| Crompton Caelum | 4 Years (Motor) | No | 4 Years |
| atomberg Enzel | 2 Years | +1 Year (on registration) | 3 Years |
| Orient Proton | 3 Years | No | 3 Years |
| Havells Elio | 2 Years | +1 Year (on registration) | 3 Years |
| atomberg Elite | 3 Years | +2 Years (on registration) | 5 Years |
| Orient Aeon VC | 5 Years | No | 5 Years |
The longest total warranty is the Orient Aeon VC Smart and atomberg Renesa Elite with 5 years of total warranty, which is the most extensive one. The Colorbot Helix and Crompton Caelum come in with a 4-year follow-up, but the longer warranty of the Colorbot has to be registered online.
Havells, Orient, and Crompton have the largest after-sales network in India, with service centres in most cities and towns, atomberg has established a good service network in recent years, which is enhanced by their toll-free helpline and online registration system. Colorbot is a relatively new player, and its service footprint is relatively small, which is also worth taking into consideration by the buyers in smaller towns.
Price Comparison
Price is a very important consideration in the choice of a BLDC ceiling fan particularly in a specific budget of Rs.5,000. The following table indicates the listing price, effective daily cost in 5 years of life, and the approximate annual electricity savings in comparison to a traditional 75W fan.
| Fan | Price (₹) Approx | Wattage | Est. Annual Electricity Cost (₹)* | Est. Annual Savings vs 75W Fan (₹)* |
